When I saw it, it was flitting around the bush beside the path, looking like it was either grabbing something from the stems or testing them as resting spots. It then swooped down and up a little closer to the main stem, and attached itself to the underside of a branch.

Along with the flash it is picking up some of the mercury vapor light giving that yellowish affect. Sometimes the flash did not go off at all causing the yellowish cast in other photos. Depends how close the moth was to the light (the old camera would sometimes not use the flash if there was enough light)
